The Audi A3 Sportback makes progress tangible. Its impressive exterior is characterised by the expressive wheel arches, the wider track and the continuous shoulder line on the side. The front is dominated by the enlarged Singleframe in honeycomb look, which at the same time underlines the athleticism of the Audi A3 Sportback. Bright matrix LED headlights ensure good visibility at all times.

INTERIOR

Interior design Audi A3 Sportback

The large MMI touch colour display enables you to control all important functions. Progressive steering supports you, depending on your speed, e.g. with less steering work when you slow down and park. Design your own atmosphere with the 30 different colours included in the ambient lighting package. Thanks to the optional features of the Audi A3 Sportback, such as the Audi virtual cockpit plus and the head-up display, additional information is displayed in the driver’s direct field of vision. The optional sound system from Bang & Olufsen with its 3D sound fits perfectly with the rest of the high-quality equipment.

The new Audi A3 allstreet is a real highlight. With its striking octagon single frame, the high-contrast design elements in selenite silver and the robust off-road attachment strips on the sides, it immediately stands out. The brand-new Audi A3 saloon in the advanced equipment line impresses with a new front design featuring a hexagonal, frameless Audi Singleframe and narrow design elements on the side air intakes. The elegant design language is also characterised by the Audi rings in 2D look and a new lighting design.

Further details about the Audi A3 Sportback

There are different engine types to choose from for the Audi A3 Sportback. The range of turbocharged direct petrol injection engines is available with an output of 150 hp to 310 hp. Some of them are equipped with the S tronic dual-clutch gearbox for particularly comfortable driving with almost no interruption of traction power. The direct diesel injection engines have an output of 200 hp.

The MMI touch display also forms the navigation centre in the cockpit of the Audi A3 Sportback. Let yourself be inspired by its many functions. To avoid having to look away from the road, the head-up display shows you additional information directly in the driver’s field of vision. Bolt on additional features easily whenever you need them, using the myAudi app and functions on demand.

The Audi A3 Sportback already comes with numerous assistance systems as standard. Adaptive Driving Assist ensures a constant driving style and can even handle steering, acceleration and braking. Audi pre sense front uses the camera and the front radar to prevent accidents with objects, vehicles or people in front of you in the best-case scenario. Emergency braking is also initiated if necessary. Collision Avoidance Assist also makes it easier for you to avoid obstacles. To make parking as easy as possible with the Audi A3 Sportback, the parking system plus with acoustic signals and the park assist, where the driver simply has to operate the accelerator, brake and gearshift, takes over the steering.

The Audi A3 belongs to the compact class. It was presented as a three-door model at the Mondial de l’Auto in Paris in 1996. Since its introduction, the Audi A3 has been produced at various locations, mainly at Audi’s main site in Ingolstadt (Germany), and occasionally also in Brazil and Hungary. It was only in 1999 that a five-door version of the Audi A3 was launched. The Audi A3 got a facelift in 2000, both visually and technically. This brought A3 visually closer to its big brother, the Audi A4. The fourth generation of the Audi A3 has been in production since 2020.
