The new VW Multivan combines the most modern premium passenger car level with traditional all-rounder qualities, impresses with superior safety, expressive dynamics and charismatic design. Visually too, the new Multivan follows its predecessors with its clear, timeless design - but reinterprets the traditional design. The classic two-tone paint finish² is underlined in the new VW Multivan by a chrome band² that runs centrally from the headlights to the rear. The classy lighting design with the IQ.Light LED matrix headlights³ is complemented on the exterior by the standard LED rear lights and the projection light⁴ - because your new van welcomes you and projects the VW Multivan silhouette onto the ground when you get in. The new exterior design is completed by a large selection of classy colours and rims, such as the new 19-inch rims² - so you can design your new Multivan entirely according to your personal taste.

Multifunctionality and suitability for everyday use

One of the great, strengths in the new VW Multivan are the foldable and easily removable individual seats in the rear, which now make it even easier to realise the various seating arrangements. Whether in a vis-à-vis arrangement² with the multifunction table in the middle, all seats facing the direction of travel or sometimes no seats at all for transporting large objects - you can change the seating arrangement in just a few simple steps. Thanks to the single seat system, you can now also remove the seats on just one side of the vehicle - and thus transport people and bulky objects such as e-bikes. In addition, the new seat concept has enabled us to save around 25 percent in weight. An absolute novelty in the new VW Multivan is the particularly large, two-part panoramic roof².

VW Multivan e-hybrid

Drive turns into alternative

The new VW Multivan comes with an unprecedented variety of drive systems. Because in addition to the standard shift-by-wire automatic transmission, our all-rounder is now also available with plug-in hybrid drive², with which you can enjoy a completely new Multivan driving experience. With the VW Multivan eHybrid, you can drive through the city in purely electric mode, locally CO₂-free and almost silently. At the same time, thanks to the 13 kWh (gross capacity) lithium-ion battery, the range is designed so that you can cover your average daily distances purely electrically. In the new Multivan eHybrid, the system output of the electric motor plus turbo petrol engine (TSI) is 160 kW / 218 hp. Enjoy the new driving experience - with a completely new VW Multivan ride comfort and handling at passenger car premium level.
