*Conditions of participation for the AMAG ‘Penalty goal shoot-out practice: Enjoy discounts ranging from CHF 500 to CHF 1,500!’ prize draw

The organiser of the competition is AMAG Automobil und Motoren AG, Alte Steinhauserstrasse 1, 6330 Cham, Switzerland (hereinafter referred to as ‘AMAG’). The competition is conducted on the basis of the following conditions of participation, which are accepted with participation. AMAG is responsible for the organisation, handling and provision of prizes or distribution of the total prize fund.

1.1 This competition is not connected to Facebook or Instagram and is in no way sponsored, supported or organised by them. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the competition must be directed exclusively to AMAG and not to Facebook or Instagram. By participating in this competition, the participant agrees to indemnify Facebook or Instagram from any third-party claims in connection with this competition.

1.2 Natural persons aged 18 or over who are a resident of Switzerland or Liechtenstein are eligible to participate. Persons under the age of 18, employees of AMAG and the companies affiliated with AMAG (including their relatives) and other persons involved in the design and implementation of this competition are not eligible to participate.

1.3 Multiple entries in this competition are excluded.

1.4 The prize cannot be transferred, assigned or exchanged and the prize cannot be paid out in cash. No purchase is required to participate in the competition.

1.5 AMAG reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition at any time without notice or justification if they manipulate the entry process or the competition, attempt to do so and/or violate the rules. This also applies to participants who provide false information about themselves.

1.6 In the interest of all participants, AMAG may suspend or end the competition at any time without warning, notice or justification if it has reason to believe that the competition has been manipulated or if the competition cannot be properly held or continued for technical or legal reasons.

1.7 AMAG reserves the right to take legal action against anyone who manipulates or attempts to manipulate this competition.

1.8 The participant can take part in the competition as follows –  either by arranging an appointment with the desired AMAG business by filling out the web form on the campaign page or by going to an AMAG business in person. The appointment must take place during normal opening times by 31 July 2024 at the latest.

1.9 The participant has the opportunity to try their luck in person with a penalty goal shoot-out on a goal wall featuring several holes. Each individual hole which the participant manages to shoot the ball through represents a discount of CHF 500. The participant has a total of three attempts to kick the ball through the holes, meaning the maximum discount possible is CHF 1,500.00. The participant can use the discount they have won right away in person for a purchase or for leasing a new vehicle (VW vans and motorhomes are excluded). If they manage to shoot the ball through one of the given holes, the discount scored is included in the purchase agreement as an additional discount on the current offers. 

If the participant does not want to redeem the discount right away, they will receive a voucher with all of the necessary information. The participant can redeem the discount by 31 July 2024 at the latest (date of the conclusion of contract is decisive). They must present the voucher with the discount they have won during this process. 

1.10 Any liability for damages on the part of AMAG and its executive bodies, employees and vicarious agents arising from or in connection with the competition, regardless of the legal grounds, is, to the extent permitted by law, limited to cases of intent or gross negligence. All operating, ancillary and subsequent costs relating to the prize shall be borne by the winner.

1.11 By entering the competition, the participant consents to the use of their data by AMAG and acknowledges the Privacy Policy. The participant agrees that their data will be stored by AMAG and shared with partner companies in the context of the processing of prizes. Furthermore, the participant agrees that the images, videos and posts submitted by them to AMAG as part of this competition may be used and published by AMAG.

1.12 The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into concerning the competition.

1.13 The competition is subject to Swiss law. 

1.14 AMAG reserves the right to amend these conditions of participation at any time. If individual regulations in these conditions of participation should be or become invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining regulations.
