We'll happily present your vehicle to the driver and vehicle licensing office for you if you like.

It is a legal requirement to take your vehicle to the relevant driver and vehicle licensing office for its MVI firstly after five years, then again after another three years and thereafter every two years. There may be a delay of some months before your vehicle is called in for its MVI, depending on the canton.

When the time comes, our professional team is there for you and will get your vehicle ready for the MVI – because good preparation of your vehicle for this periodic inspection is essential.

The preparation for the motor vehicle inspection includes the following:

Diesel particulate filter check

Reliable functioning of the diesel particulate filter has been checked in addition to road safety as part of the mandatory motor vehicle inspection (MVI) since 1 January 2023.

By having your diesel particulate filter checked by us beforehand, you can get a reliable indication of its condition and find out whether any repairs are needed ahead of the MVI. This avoids any unpleasant surprises when your vehicle undergoes its mandatory inspection.
